Mexican Fire Agate Sterling 14KY Ring by Lori Braun Size 7.5 RG124 $635
Mexican fire agate round cab measures 11mm / 7/16" (slightly smaller than a dime)
The sterling ring shank measures 3.4mm wide. Lori Braun used a hefty, yet comfortable rounded triangular stock measuring 2.6mm thick.
The 14KY accents surrounding the Mexican fire agate, the textured circling 14KY fame, compliments the autumn colors of the Fire agate. The 14KT flat beads in Lori's design add much interest and mimic the agate's bubbling Fall colors within. RG124 $635
Mexican fire agate's schiller and internal bubbling opalescence is always an eye catcher and will render the wearer mesmerized within depths of it's color.
"Approximately 24-36 million years ago these areas were subjected to massive volcanic activity during the Tertiary Period. The fire agates were formed during this period of volcanism when hot water, saturated with silica and iron oxide, repeatedly filled cracks and bubbles in the surrounding rock."
