BNOX: The Name

BNOX.

The name BNOX is a term of endearment found on many of Ted's grandparents love letters starting in the 1920s.   Burton Smith & Irma Newcomb signed many love letters and named a few boats after this term of endearment.  For years they promised to reveal the secret at their 40th wedding anniversary, but that day came and went, and eventually they took their beloved BNOX meaning to the grave. Years later, Rebecca and Ted honor the history and love of Burton and Irma with our gallery name BNOX and it's mysterious lore which began long ago here in Pepin, Wisconsin.
