This marquis cut cabochon of Brazilian Gilalite in Quartz inspired Rebecca to combine clear water blues with her cast maple bud into a pendant. Aquamarine and Zircon were perfect accents along with sterling and14KY in this "one of a kind". Mirroring and mimicking the maple bud, the back side (or front if you choose), reveals a delicate cut out pattern, that one can only glimpse from the front.
From many years of observing the giddy pleasure of a client discovering an intentional element of design on the reverse side, or a piece being in its entirety, two sided, Rebecca chooses to consider all sides of her jewelry as significant, bringing interest and surprise to all sides.
The entire length is 1 3/8" x just short 5/8" (63 mm x 14mm)
Faceted aquamarine is 3mm, faceted zircon is 2.7 mm
