Bright Carolina is a simply classic, two tone, modestly scaled, pendant that you may put on and leave on. The sterling pod is cast of an actual pod Rebecca found (dug out of the crack in the sidewalk) in North Carolina. The original pod was twice as thick, but cut in half for jewelry aesthetic purposes. The bail is 14KY and opening for the chain is 2.5 x 3mm (only a fine chain end will fit). Pendant measures 3/4" long x 3/16" wide. It weights 1.17 grams
