Blue Chalcedony 14ky Sterling Sapphire pendant by Lori Braun of MN This clean-lined, contemporary pendant contains an asymmetrical marquis shaped chalcedony. It’s inviting soft hue of gumdrop violet/blue has a translucence and an almost imperceptible movement within. This play of light is indicative of most fine chalcedony. A striking arc of textured gold cradles the chalcedony. A 2.25 mm round faceted tanzanite offsets and balances the design. Navy, aqua and many blues would complement this lovely pendant. Though a contrast of yellow, coral, orange or even green would be stunning!
The only visible metal is 14ky, though the back of the chalcedony bezel is sterling.
