This description is going to be enthusiastic because I LOVE TOURMALINE!
The tourmaline slice has captivating depths. It is a slender slice of a tourmaline crystal, polished on both sides. Like an eye's iris, it contains linear striations of brighter, spring green needles. Similar to rays of the sun, these rays surround the deep, dark green center. Like stained glass, neighboring colors next to each other are impactful. The translucent moss and light greens are translucent and nicely contrasted with a 2mm faceted pink, tourmaline sister stone. It is set in a 14KY bezel at about eleven O' clock. Subtle rainbow brilliance can be seen in the needle rays, creating additional intrigue.
It is my opinion that mother nature has taken the most luscious colors and put them in tourmaline. This is the stone for the green eyes of the world. Guess what mine are!
Lori, none the less, set this candy-looking tourmaline in a substantial gauge of 14ky and it is going nowhere. Graduating flat gold beads ride a Saturn like ring around the tourmaline.
And if you have green eyes, put this pendant on and leave it on, FOREVER. It will always look fantastic on you!
It's moderate in scale, easy to wear size is 3/4" in circumference.
