The sterling tiger lily seed pod was gathered from her yard in Pepin, Wisconsin. It was left with its natural seed pod texture which complements the matt finish of the rest of the pendant. The blue chalcedony cabochon has a silky, semi-translucent deep corn flower blue color, and it's durability makes it ideal for jewelry. Blue chalcedony has an appearance of having a dim light shining from within. The bezel surrounding the chalcedony is gently textured.
Because it is fun and interesting, Rebecca hid a crescent moon on the back of the pendant. Only a hint of this cut out moon shape is visible from the front, but once you know it is there, however, you can see it interact with the light as it passes through the front. It is subtle.
