Labradorite is like the Northern Lights. As this pendant is naturally able to shift and move into different angles on the wearer, the labradorite will flash a blue chantoyancy. When the labradorite is not in Northern Lights mode the neutral gray/gold alter ego is quite intriguing as well. labradorite is well loved and it's neutral coloration is easy to wear and to love.
Labradorite is known for its remarkable iridescence. This schiller or metallic luster can be seen when light hits the stone from particular angles. in the case of these labradorite nugget beads, the metallic tints are aqua, blue, light green and gold. This effect is so unique to labradorite that it is referred to as labradorescence. As you move the labradorite appears to have a breath of it own. It is always intriguing to those who know of it and to those who don't. It beckons a closer look.
