This exquisite pietersite is select. The blue gradients are so dark it becomes black. Reminiscent of deep blue satin material silkiness, the chatoyancy of reflected light ripples throughout, making it, quite honestly, difficult to photograph. Like opal, the the light undulates across the pietersite. The striking iridescence is comparable to the northern lights disappearing, then reappearing again, with subtle movement of the pendant.
Lori Braun's pendant is a soft diamond shape and offset with the round sapphire. the sapphire brings the piece closer to it's celestial essence.
The circular elements of sterling are contrasting textured against a high polish finish. the pendant is crowned 14KY elements that hold the sapphire and create the bail.
