6.5 round cabochon blue moonstonde is set in 14KY
(Ooops - it's so bright, I mistakenly thought it was labrdorite!) The labradorite is lively with a remarkable play of light from aqua to navy. This is known as it's labradorescence for which is known and loved for . Labradorite is usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, but this one is mostly blues with a few rays of goldish blue. This stone is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes.
Overall length is approx. 20 mm and width is 12 mm
